Welcome to the website of the Central Scotland Safety Camera Partnership
Local organisations across Central Scotland have been working together for some time now to improve road safety and thereby assist in the reduction of collisions and casualties.
There are now 46 safety camera partnerships operating across the UK. Including the Central Scotland Partnership, eight of these are operating in Scotland.
Road safety targets for 2000-2010, set by the Scottish Executive and the Department of Transport:
- reduce by 40% the number of people killed or seriously injured
- reduce by 50% the number of children killed or seriously injured
- a 10% reduction in the slight casualty rate.
